First, I want to send our (Stephanie & David Waltemyer) sincere condolences to the family and pray for comfort and peace for you during this time. Secondly, this appears to be a divine moment when I usually don't look to the obituaries, but for some reason I looked today (August 14) and saw that Rev. Smeltzer had passed. He married us on August 7, 1972 and as I look back on that occasion have pondered whatever happened to Rev. Smeltzer. Since then we have lived in Colorado and ended up in Alaska. I am thankful for his willingness to marry us at Hawk Mountain Sancturary on a relatively clear day. I'll always remember him for that. Thank you and God bless you.
