Condolence: We will miss our friend Louis (never Lou) who never seemed to lose his patience finding just the right nail and spending so much time can't believe he made any money on the sale. When I needed hardware, and we have a choice, I would look forward to chatting with Louis at the store and was always disappointed when he was not there. Louis had this wonderful disposition and sense of humor and we will miss him at the store and elsewhere.Louis Doe of blessed memory

Condolence: Dear Jenny and Mark (former students at GSB) and other members of the Doe family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for you as you grieve the loss of your father, who for so many, was the face of a wonderful hometown hardware and garden business that he and your incredible mother, Judy, built from scratch. Louis's smiling face and wry wit will always be remembered, along with so many other fine qualities that made him a super neighbor. God bless you all as you adjust to this new chapter in your lives.
I am in California right now, so I won't be able to attend the service you have planned, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Yours sincerely,
Stephen
