Condolence: Please except my condolences, Sibley family, for the passing of your patriarch.
Sib had tremendous impact on my life as only a coach with whom you spend most winter nights for three years can have on a young teenage boy.
One of my fond memories is coach Sibley driving around in his old Jeep during snow days and stopping by my house and plowing us out(saved me from lots of shoveling!) and then inviting me to drive around on his snow day journey.
Another memory is coach providing me with a pair of new converse sneakers, telling me they would make me faster! [ I was already pretty fast.] Tremendous generosity!
And my final thiought that I will share with you here is the great memory of a state championship victory and the joyful smiles that Sib could produce so well!
Rest well old man and carry that smile along with you through eternity.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to the extended Sibley Family. Sib certainly left an indullible mark on my life as basketball was an important part of my high school experience. I have many great memories and a few not so but with me he was always fair and seemed to appreciate my effort to want to get better. He was equally demanding in biology class and I recall he'd let you leave early for lunch if you scored a 100 on the quiz over whatever chapter we were studying. I only got to go early to lunch once! But I still tried hard and I have to believe he was part of why. I hope he's in a better place, fishing, telling stories.
