She served as manager for over 20 years before retiring in 2006.

In her younger years, she was an avid golfer and played in the local women’s softball league. She enjoyed watching game shows, soap operas, laying in the sun, and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Hilton; and a brother, Howard Spencer.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Lessner of Nobleboro, and Andrew Lessner and his wife Sarah of Waldoboro; two sisters, Beverly Dolloff of Bremen, and Donna Jolicoeur of Walpole; a brother, Edsel Spencer of Louisiana; as well as many nieces and nephews.
