Condolence: It was my great pleasure to get to know Woody while I worked at Cole's Hills. He was delightful and fun, always with a great story and a kind word for his neighbors. I could count on him, even at the age of 90 + to take good care of the other the other tenants. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Woody.

Condolence: Woody always made me laugh when I was waitressing at Moody's. He was such a clever, funny person. No matter how busy we were, he had a way of making stressed out waitresses smile. It's going to feel strange to visit the diner and not see him there. I am thinking of his family.

Condolence: Dear Dana and Sonja and family, We miss Woody all ready. He always had a smile for us, and he loved to hear Ronnie play the organ and piano--and then Ronnie and Paul together. When Ronnie passed away, Woody wrote me a card and said you were always sending me cards, so I thought that I could send you one. How sweet of him. And, naturally, I remember Ella. What a nice couple. Woody was a faithful member of the Waldoboro United Methodist Church. He was there every Sunday right up until six months ago. What a dear person. "When the storm passes by". Now the storms of life have passed him by and he is with his loved ones. God bless his family. Love, Lillian

Condolence: Great picture of Woody, there always seemed to be a reason for Woody to smile/laugh. I remember him coming into church, Waldoboro United Methodist, on Sunday mornings(every Sunday for about 30yrs)and stopping in the doorway, looking ahead and saying "is there room for me?" Now, we are a small congregation so there were empty seats. He would laugh and we would say we can start now Woody is here. We do miss him on Sunday mornings but can look back and feeling thankful that we were able to help as needed to make him comfortable while he was home. I feel blessed to have had that opportunity. Condolences to his family
