Gloria Gamage, 83 of South Bristol, passed away on the afternoon of May 3, 2018 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born in South Bristol on July 8, 1934, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (Plummer) Chipman.
Gloria loved lobstering with her husband Arnold, and riding her mopeds. In recent years, she enjoyed playing BINGO at Cove’s Edge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Gamage, Sr.; and two sons, Troy and Gerald.
Gloria is survived by two sons, Arnold Gamage, Jr. and his wife Gail, and Gregory Gamage and his wife Charlene; a sister, Patricia Poland and her husband Arthur; as well as five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
An hour of visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00pm, on Thursday, May 10th at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Damariscotta. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, on Friday, May 11th at the West Bristol Cemetery in Walpole.
