Condolence From: Bill Weary
Condolence: Irene and Arnie, Charlie was my childhood friend and companion, at his farm, here, swimming, county fairs, and his family and mine were close. I'm happy I managed a couple of years ago to give him a photo I'd taken of him in 1953 with his heifer, and I regret that we never found time after to get together. But I always knew that Charlie was "out there," true to himself; somewhere, he still is. With my best wishes -- Bill

Condolence: I only had the pleasure of knowing Charles in a limited capacity for a short time, however in that brief time I found him to be an honest, hardworking and good man, something the word is in desperate need of in these times. My condolences to his wife Iris and the family.

Condolence From: Douglas Gilman
Condolence: Throughout the course of our lives, we have the opportunity to have met someone that is truly good, respected, honest, hardworking, kind, and who is willing to take time to say hello and have a friendly discussion about how the family is doing, or recent happenings that would always be interesting - especially the way Charlie would recall them with his usual wit and enthusiastic humor. I am glad to have met Charlie and known him, as my family and I always enjoyed our times with Charlie and Iris, as we experienced their kindness and the pleasure of their friendship. My heartfelt condolences to you Iris as you move forward.
I thank you for the fond memories and best wishes to you, another bright star will be in the night sky for a good man.
Sincerely, Doug Gilman

Condolence: Iris,
We will miss Charlie at our farmers market. His wry sense of humor brightened up the market and we always enjoyed talking with him.
He will be missed tremendously.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.
