Condolence From: Rick Kamlet
Condolence: Sorry to be late with posting this. I am profoundly sad at Chuck's passing. Chuck and I worked together at a pro audio manufacturing company in the early 1990s. We did roadshows and seminars around the country. We spent a lot of time together over the course of maybe a year and a half -- travelling, having meals, setting up truss work, hanging loudspeakers (sometimes into the wee hours of the morning). We spent time figuring out what was the best way to explain concepts, working up presentation materials, and all sorts of things. Chuck was just a great human being to spend time with. I never got tired of hanging with him. He always had a good story to tell, or we would wonder about why some law of physics was so and what implications it might have in relation to something. He was very generous with sharing what he knew and with what he theorized to be true. And of course, when you spend that much time together, you talk about life. Just a wonderful person. He and I kept in touch only periodically after that as we moved to different companies and life situations. I’d see him at a trade show or one of us would send an email to the other. We lost touch over the last couple of years. It’s a big loss indeed. He will be missed.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to have missed the memorial service. Chuck was a wonderful friend in the musical community and at Lincoln Academy. He was the anchor of many a concert and musical theater production. He will be missed. Warm thoughts to family and friends.

Condolence: My most sincere condolences for the friends and family. I worked with Chuck at EAW and I truly wish I had met him much earlier. I learned so much from him, and it was always a pleasure to be around him and “be a sponge”. I’ve missed him ever since we left EAW. I will not forget him.
