Obituary for Patrick Leeman

Patrick Merton Leeman, 42 of Bristol, passed away suddenly on August 13th, 2018. Born on November 1, 1975 in Damariscotta, he was the son of Craig and Donna Leeman of New Harbor.

Patrick grew up in New Harbor and graduated from Lincoln Academy class of 1995, he went on to study at the University of Maine class of 2004, and Lake-Sumter CC.

Patrick enjoyed life to its fullest even though he was living with the challenges of Arthritis. Most of what Patrick enjoyed in life revolved around his two boys and his large family. He was a leader for the Cub and Boy Scouts while his two sons Adam and Matthew were growing up. He enjoyed, and took pride in, work that he and his partner Claude did on their home and gardens.

Summers were spent camping and listening to Bluegrass Music with his parents and extended family, and always keeping in close contact with his many cousins near and far. When not listening to music, you could catch him belting a tune at the local pubs Karaoke night.

Patrick was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Craig Leeman; grandparents, Merton and Ruth Leeman, and Malcolm and Georgia Benner; and an aunt, Hazel Bowe.

He is survived by his parents, Craig and Donna Leeman; sons, Adam Merton Leeman and Matthew John Leeman; brother, Christopher A. Leeman and his wife Heather Leeman; nephew, Timothy; niece, Norma Leeman; aunts, uncles, many cousins; and his partner, Claude Elliott.

A graveside service for Patrick will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, August 25th at the New Harbor Cemetery in New Harbor. The Leeman Family would like to invite friends and family to join them at the Harbor Room Restaurant in New Harbor immediately following the graveside service. There will be food and drink available, and sharing of memories.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Damariscotta, ME 04543. Condolences, and messages for his family, may be expressed by visiting: www.StrongHancock.com.
