Condolence: We loved Don like a brother. The best neighbor and friend, we will miss him, but what a legacy he left behind! Sue is our dear, dear friend who has been the strongest and most faithful, loving wife imagineable. He will be remembered always.
Condolence: Sue- I am very sorry to learn of Don's passing. He was an amazing man. I cannot believe how much one person can make a such a strong impact on my life in one short year. His support of my son and support of me as the Supt. in AOS 93 was beyond words of thanks. I was so happy to be able to perform the national anthem at the celebration in So. Bristol in what has turned out to be his last Veteran's Day. My son and I owe him a great deal. His sense of what service means speaks volumes about him. We should all strive to be more like him.
Condolence: We will miss you Don Edwards. You were a force to be reckoned with. The love and compassion you showed for the ordinary person only foretold your relationship with Sue, Elijah, Josiah, Addie and Nathaniel. Your gruff exterior belied the love that exuded from your soul. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Condolence: Jane & I extend our deepest condolences to the families of Sue & Don Edwards. I have known Don to be a strong advocate of our country and as one of the most respected generals in the Army National Guard. He served Vermont well during his16 years as their AG. I regret that I was unable to spend more time with him in his final days. I know that those who knew Don will miss him. He has left an enduring legacy. Roger Sandler, Major General, US Army Retired
