John S. Peters, 90 of Edgecomb, passed away at his home on the evening of November 6, 2018. Born on October 2, 1928, he was the husband of the late Mary (Hayes) Peters.

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm, on Monday, November 12th at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Damariscotta, ME. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am, on Tuesday, November 13th at St. Patrick Church in Newcastle. He will be laid to rest immediately following the service.
