Obituary for Brian Dunbar

Brian (Bev) Eugene Dunbar, 74, passed away at his home in Bristol on November 22nd. Born on November 11, 1944 in Sherman, Maine, he was the son of Wilbur and Elvena (Bragg) Dunbar.

Brian grew up in Skowhegan and attended school there. He graduated from Farmington State College.

He taught school in Caanan, ME and worked as a purchasing agent for several companies throughout the years.

Brian very much enjoyed sailing and owned his own sailboat, the Zane Grey.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his brother, Aubrey Dunbar and his wife Florence of Farmingdale, Maine; and several nephews and nieces.

Per Brian’s wishes, no formal service will be held. He will be laid to rest privately sometime in the spring in Sherman.
