I first met Rev. Mark at First Church Congregational, Methuen MA. I'm greatful for the years Mark was with us. My favorite memories include when we had a baptisim and Mark would "walk the baby" down the center isle introducing him or her to the congregation. Mark spoke in a very soft voice telling the child we were his/her First Church family and we would be here to help in their spiritual growth. Mark spoke as if he and the baby were the only people in the church. It was magical. The children's moment part of the service was always a delight as well as a learning experience.
Mark had one of the best laughs I have ever had the pleasure to hear. When Mark laughed, he ment it! The smile and sparkle in his eyes made me smile.
I have thought often of Mark and how he listened to me and helped when I asked for his time.
To Mark's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mark's passing is a loss felt by many.
God bless you at this difficult time and the days ahead.
