Condolence: Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. My very best wishes for all of you. Betty (Mrs. Bickford) was always very nice to me and so tolerant of the neighborhood kids that often invaded her home. Great memories, she will certainly be missed.

Condolence: Betty was a colleague at GSB School & a dear friend. I had enormous respect for her, she remains on the short list of the best teachers I’ve ever known. She did so much for me through the years. One time, when I was a new teacher & young, I suffered a horrible loss. In sympathy, friends sent cards & food, but Betty gave me a little music box. It was such a perfect little gesture. I loved her very much. If there is a community service of some sort, I’d appreciate knowing about it. She was highly regarded throughout the GSB community. My condolences to her family & friends. With love, Karen Hight

Condolence: Tanya and Rob, so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. We had many fun times together with you and my kids Renee, Kimberly and Kevin as you played together at Bradford street home. Had lost touch after I moved away but always asked of her when I visited Maine. Will miss her smile and friendly personality. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Condolence: Betty was the kindest human being I've ever met in my 53 years. She was a never ending source of encouragement when it came to my aspiration of teaching. She was a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. I will miss her dearly, as I'm sure many others will.

She spoke softly, but with wisdom and authority.

Love you always, dear dear Betty
