I am so sorry for your loss. Phyllis was a wonderful person with a sense of humor that brightened the world of those around her. I have so many warm memories of growing up in Alna, and one of them is of seeing her pull into the Alna Post Office to deliver mail during the summer. I always enjoyed crossing the street to the Post Office and spending just a couple of minutes with her and listening to her stories. Even though I was just a kid, she always took the time to talk to me and make me feel special. She will be truly missed. My family extends thoughts and prayers to the entire Verney family.
