Sandra Joyce Hassan, 78 of North Newcastle, passed away on the morning of December 5th, at the LincolnHealth - Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Gardiner, Maine on December 23, 1938, she was the daughter of Everett and Zoe Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Millard A. Hassan of North Newcastle; four daughters, Robin K. Hassan of Damariscotta, Crystal L. Klema of Lewiston, Melanie M. Riendeau of Newcastle, and Angel S. Plant of Bremen; stepdaughter, Cheryl Wood of Randolph; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She will be loved and missed by so many.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held from 1:00pm-6:00pm, on Saturday, December 16th at the Alna Fire Station, 1647 Alna Road, Alna, ME 04535. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sandra Hassan Memorial Fund, ℅ Damariscotta Bank & Trust, PO Box 999, Damariscotta, ME 04543.
