Summer of 2017 We were fortunate enough to join my siblings and their spouses, John and Cynthia, Ken and Ardith, Patty and John, and cousins Chris and Lisette and visit Aunt Madel, The 10 of us enjoyed a tour of her home, all of the public areas and her apartment.  She was clearly very much at home and very proud of her surroundings and those that helped her live her very full life.  It has been many years since she has seen most of us and I was amazed that she remembered all of us by name, but was able to go around the circle and recount a story of each and every one of us from some point in our youth.   She was truly a treasure in the family....and will be missed.  But I can't help but think that there was a spot beside Woodie that was empty and needed filling  They are both smiling brightly!
