It took me a few years to be able to think of Jean as my Step-Mother and not simply my Dad's wife, and there were easy times and more difficult times as we grew accustomed to one another, but I know that she always did her best to do right by me and my sister. She was always there to talk or help just like any other parent would be. Krista is grateful that she got the chance to meet you, Jean, and I'm grateful that you were in my life. We miss you.
